Patients face risks and doctors are silenced in multiple parts of the Scottish NHS, staff have warned after a damning report on emergency care in Glasgow. Staff said the findings of the review by Healthcare Improvement Scotland (HIS), which criticised “remote” managers for failing to support those on the ground in the overwhelmed Greater Glasgow and Clyde A&E departments, echoed their own experiences.
