
Plan to end asylum hotels will fail, watchdog warns telegraph.co.uk
Sir Keir Starmer will fail to end the use of asylum hotels by the next election, the UK’s borders watchdog has said. David Bolt, the chief inspector of borders and immigration, told a committee of peers that there was not enough housing stock to deal with the number of people in the asylum system.
